How to send file from desktop app to server connected over LAN without internet?

I am building a desktop application that uploads a file from a client and sends it to the server. The client and server are connected over a local area network without internet. I am using Electron for building the desktop app, but I am confused about what to use on the server-side. I have figured out that Node.js and Express.js might be some of the options.

Where should I begin and what is the most suitable option to use on both client-server sides?

  1. If your all systems are windows, then it will work. It worked for me in electron.
make separate folder in a system and give it file sharing permission.
    Folder Sharing

Then open the other systems where the electron application in running. Before running the application open the shared folder once like thisenter image description here

When open file in windows explorer you usually type like this \\DESKTOP-CG7RHL0\SharedFolder. But in your app use the path like //DESKTOP-CG7RHL0/Printer.
    Definitely it will work.

If you find anything with linux. Please comment..
    Thank you
