React Native border radius rendering

When you add a border radius to a border in CSS the border will gradually decline in width around the border radius, as you can see in this example:

.example {
  width: 100px;
  height: 50px;
  background: #000;
  border-bottom: 4px solid red;
  border-bottom-right-radius: 20px;
<div class="example"></div>

I am trying to do the same within React Native, however React Native seems to cut off the last bit:

As you can see it doesn’t taper off the border along the radius.

What would be the best approach to get the border to taper off like it does in web engines?

  1. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found
    a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
    There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely
    off topic but I had to tell someone!

  2. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite reason appeared
    to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of.
    I say to you, I certainly get irked while people
    think about worries that they just do not know about. You managed to
    hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal.
    Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
